It locks the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw & 3/8"-16 screw; Convenient to switch from types of shooting equipment such as base plates, tripods & stabilizers. The anti-off design on the bottom surface is designed to prevent the camera from accidentally loosening or falling off. Built-in anti-scratch design on the top of the plate.
