SmallRig 4024 

With the Black Mamba Series Camera Cage Kit from SmallRig, you may increase the possibilities of your Panasonic Lumix S5 II or S5 IIX mirrorless camera. The kit comes with a form-fitting camera cage, an HDMI/USB-C cable clamp, and a top handle with a 3/8"-16 anti-twist mount. Through its 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, NATO rail, and shoe mount, the cage, which is made to firmly install onto the camera body, offers a protected structure to which all kinds of accessories can be attached. The top handle offers several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, as well as a second shoe mount.

The camera cannot move or twist inside the cage thanks to the three-point locking system. The built-in Arca-type quick release plate allows for simple conversions from a tripod to a motorised gimbal or shoulder rig. You may also use the QD socket and the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom. The camera cables are secured with a cable clamp that is mounted on the side of the cage to prevent pulling or disconnecting. The ergonomically designed, lightweight, and strong aluminium cage allows for all-day shots.

Expandability

The S5 II and S5 IIX are best used in conjunction with a variety of monitors, stronger batteries, lens hoods, etc. to realise their full potential. You can attach plenty of optional equipment to this cage, far more than you could with your camera alone (also available separately). These fasten using the NATO rail, the shoe mount, the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads.

Kit Configuration

Use the top handle to carry the camera, and the shoe mount, 1/4"-20, and 3/8"-16 threads to add accessories. To prevent your connections from coming undone, the HDMI/USB-C cable clamp is mounted to the side of the camera using captive screws.

Secure Connections

When you need it, the Arca-type quick release plate keeps your rig securely in place, but it doesn't slow you down when you need to switch your camera supports. Your lens is kept focused straight downrange by a three-point anti-twist locking mechanism, which includes an integrated magnetic camera key.
